Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Ken when you use our website or services. We've kept them clear and fair — please read them, because by engaging us you agree to them.

1. Who we are
Ken (“Ken”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a personal digital-protection service operated by Britannia Ventures Pte Ltd (Singapore) and reachable at hello@kenprivacy.com. “You” means the person or organisation using our website or services.
2. What we provide
Ken helps you understand, reduce, and monitor your public online exposure using publicly available, lawful information. The specific services, deliverables, and prices you buy are those described on our website or set out in your order or proposal at the time of purchase.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you use Ken on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation to these terms. Where we help protect a family member or child, we do so at the request and under the authority of the responsible adult.
4. Acceptable use — consent is required
Our services exist to protect you, or a subject you have a lawful right and legitimate reason to check, with the necessary consent. You agree that you will not use Ken to:
- stalk, harass, intimidate, locate, track, or surveil any person;
- gather information about anyone unlawfully, or against their interests, or without a lawful basis;
- make decisions that require regulated background screening unless you are lawfully permitted to do so;
- breach anyone's privacy, or any applicable law, in connection with our service.
We may refuse, pause, or end any engagement that we reasonably believe falls outside these limits, and we will not carry out work that we consider unlawful or unethical. We do not hack, access private accounts, bypass security, or purchase stolen data.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate, complete information and only authorise checks you are entitled to request.
- Provide the consent and identity details reasonably needed for us to act on your behalf (for example, to submit removal requests).
- Carry out the steps that only you can do, such as changing passwords or closing your own accounts, when we recommend them.
- Keep your account credentials and your communications with us secure.
6. What we can and can't promise
We use professional methods and reasonable skill and care. However, the internet changes constantly, and third parties — including data brokers and search engines — may re-collect or re-publish information outside our control. Because of this:
- we cannot guarantee that any specific item will be removed, or removed permanently;
- we cannot guarantee that no future exposure, breach, or listing will ever occur;
- our reports reflect what is reasonably findable at a point in time and are not a warranty that nothing else exists;
- our service is not legal, financial, or investigative advice, and does not replace professional advice or law-enforcement action where those are needed.
7. Payment & renewals
Prices are shown at the point of purchase and may be stated in US dollars or another currency. One-off services are payable in advance. Subscription plans are billed on a recurring basis (for example monthly) and renew automatically until you cancel. You authorise us and our payment provider to charge your chosen payment method for the fees due. We may change prices for future billing periods with reasonable notice.
8. Cancellation & refunds
You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial periods unless required by law. For one-off services, once work has begun the fee is generally non-refundable, but if you are unhappy, contact us — we will always try to make things right.
9. Intellectual property
The reports and materials we prepare for you are provided for your own personal use. Ken retains ownership of its brand, templates, methods, and website content. You may use the report we deliver for your own purposes but may not resell or redistribute our materials as your own.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data, or reputation;
- we are not liable for the acts of third parties, including data brokers, platforms, or bad actors, that are outside our reasonable control;
- our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, use the service unlawfully, or fail to pay. You may stop using the service at any time. On termination we will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
13. Changes to these terms & how to contact us
We may update these terms as our service or the law evolves. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes to active subscriptions, give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
